100 Best Hotels of Ukraine

It was on 23rd March 2011 that Kiev held the official awarding ceremony of 100 Best Hotels of Ukraine contest, which was organized by the Council of Tourism and Resorts and the Association of hotels and hotel associations of cities of Ukraine.

According to the resume of the contest, the Old CONTINENT Hotel was rated in 100 Best Hotels of the country, receiving the respective diploma and medal “For high professionalism”. In the course of making the rate the expert council fully evaluated the businesses of a hotel industry, taking into account such criteria as an overall level of the hotel, the quality of rooms, food service, extra services, as well as the work of personnel.

According to the organizers of the contest, one of the main goals of the rate is to improve the image of a hotel industry of Ukraine on the international level. The resume summing up as well as winners’ congratulations was held in the framework of XII International Exhibition Hotel & Restaurant Expo Ukraine-2011, which took place in Kiev on March 23-25. «The contest has become the part of the Council's programme on introducing the European system of quality assessment in the tourism sector», - said Eugene Samartsev, head of the Council for Tourism and Resorts.

We are very glad that the authoritative expert council consisting of leaders of professional associations, leading Ukrainian tour operators, hotel sphere experts, journalists writing on tourism, highly appreciated the professional level of the Old CONTINENT Hotel personnel.
